Deep Lymphatic Movement:
The lymphatic system is a network of vessels, tissues, and organs that help to maintain fluid balance in the body and fight infections. The lymphatic system transports lymph, a fluid that contains white blood cells, throughout the body. Unlike the circulatory system, which has a central pump (the heart), the lymphatic system does not have a central pump and relies on the movement of muscles to help circulate lymph.
Deep lymphatic movement refers to the movement of lymphatic fluid through the deeper tissues and muscles of the body. This type of movement can be stimulated by a variety of activities, such as exercise, massage, or manual lymphatic drainage.
Deep lymphatic movement is important for maintaining the health of the lymphatic system and supporting the body’s immune function. When lymphatic fluid is not moving properly, it can lead to the accumulation of fluid in the tissues, a condition known as lymphedema. This can cause swelling, discomfort, and an increased risk of infection.
